Putting women at the center of recovery and peace building

This brief provides a glimpse of UN Women's work in the conflict affected regions of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine. UN Women's work in Ukraine has a focus on increasing women's leadership and participation; ending violence against women and girls; engaging women in all aspects of peace and security processes and humanitarian action; and making gender equality central to national and local development planning and budgeting.
