Date:

Happy Monday and UN Women in Ukraine are offering a free online course titled "Building My Own Path," designed for women's professional growth. This course is open to anyone interested in participating. It is part of the Women For The Future initiative, which aims to enhance the economic opportunities available to Ukrainian women.
The course aims to equip Ukrainian women with the knowledge and tools necessary for confident career advancement in today's environment, regardless of their chosen career paths, fields of activity, or professional maturity levels.
The training consists of eight blocks that cover key aspects of professional development:
- Developing self-confidence and professional abilities.
- Determining the direction for further career development.
- Creating an effective career plan.
- Building a personal brand.
- Developing a network of contacts (networking).
- Negotiation skills.
- Combating discrimination and gender inequality in the work environment.
"This course has emerged from our engagement with tens of thousands of women who have participated in the Women For The Future initiative over the past three years. These women are seeking opportunities for professional fulfillment and financial independence. We have observed that many talented specialists struggle to advance in their careers, maximize their potential, and earn a fair financial reward. To assist them on this journey, we have collaborated with top managers from Ukrainian and international companies, who have successfully navigated their own professional growth and are eager to share their experiences. Together, we have developed a program designed to help every woman create her own unique path to professional happiness," comments Anna Mazur, founder and executive director of Happy Monday.
Among the speakers of the course are top managers of leading Ukrainian and international companies: Anna Mazur (Happy Monday), Nataliia Savchenko (Glovo Ukraine), Maryna Avdieieva (Arsenal Insurance), Anastasiia Gromova (MHP), Kateryna Glushenia (Laba Group), Yanina Nesterchuk (Acino), Maryna Baturynets (Bazilik), Yana Honcharenko (Starlight Media).
The program offers a comprehensive approach to learning and includes:
- 8 recorded lectures lasting 10-20 minutes each, accompanied by sign language.
- Additional materials (selections of articles, webinars, files) for each lecture.
- Online meetings (Q&A sessions) with the course speakers.
- Closed online community of like-minded women to study together and grow professionally.
- Tests in the format of cases after each lecture and the entire course.
- Certificate after completing the training.
- Convenient learning platform where all course materials are collected.
“Securing employment has become increasingly challenging for women since the full-scale Russian invasion. As of December 2024, the number of registered unemployed people in Ukraine was 94,200, with 75,800 of them being women. Many Ukrainian women now find themselves in situations where they need to secure their financial independence and build a stable economic foundation to feel confident. Economic empowerment significantly impacts self-confidence, self-esteem, and the opportunities for personal and familial development. Promoting women’s economic empowerment is a key priority for UN Women in Ukraine. We believe that the "Building My Own Path" course will play a vital role in supporting the professional growth of Ukrainian women. This is part of our overall message to all women in Ukraine – ‘Of Course, You Can!’,” emphasized Sabine Freizer Gunes, UN Women Representative in Ukraine.
The course is free for all participants. Registration is now open at this link.
