Стартував черговий набір у медіашколу жіночого лідерства She Media School

The She Media School for Women's Leadership has announced a new call for applications for the 2025 program. The application form can be filled in until March 25. The educational program is aimed at improving management and communication skills, which will be taught in theoretical and practical sessions over three months in offline and online formats.

She Media School has been operating in Ukraine since 2022 as an initiative of UN Women Ukraine and the media consulting company Jnomics, with support from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Over the past three years, more than 100 women in managerial positions within public sector organizations have graduated from the program. She Media School has more than 20 practicing lecturers and trainers with expertise in human resources management, financial management, media, PR, public and crisis communications, marketing, branding and other areas necessary for leaders to build organizations comprehensively and efficiently.

“Institute of Mass Information data shows that women’s representation in the media was on the rise in Ukraine until 2022, with more frequent and positive representation of women in the media. However, since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, we are witnessing setbacks. The She Media School was launched in 2022 to keep women in the eye of the media in positive ways. The School has already created a group of women activists who are confidently engaging with the media. We are pleased to continue this initiative in 2025 and invite new participants to register. At UN Women, we hope that She Media School will help to enhance women’s skills, knowledge, experiences, and contacts to effectively communicate their work, results, and priorities in the Ukrainian media space,” emphasized Julia Broussard, Deputy UN Women Representative in Ukraine.

The curriculum includes lectures, workshops, case studies, on-site work with lecturers, and is divided into 5 thematic blocks: leadership, financial management and revenue generation, marketing of organizations, external communications and media relations, and personal public communications. The official start of the program is April 14, 2025. During the program, participants will be able to create and publish their own media pieces to build their personal or organizational brand with the support of content mentors and test their management skills in a custom-designed digital simulation game. The last module of the program, focused on public communication skills, will be held offline in Kyiv and will conclude with a graduation ceremony.

“We are happy to continue the work of She Media School and create even more opportunities for women in Ukraine. Every year, our community continues to grow, bringing together professional, ambitious, and motivated participants. We are delighted to see more and more people eager to join our program, which takes pride in its expert lecturers and practical materials. Many of the changes we strive for in society must begin with a strong foundation—education. And we are enthusiastic and excited to take on this challenge together with our partners,” said Maria Leonova, project founder and Associate Partner at Jnomics Media
