Participants in the She Drives project are continuing to explore the profession of bus driver

She Drives is a pilot project to train and employ female bus drivers. Currently, 100 women from 10 regions of Ukraine are acquiring new professional skills. After completing their training, the project participants will be employed by transportation companies and enterprises. One of these companies is Zelenyi Slon 7.

The Zelenyi Slon 7 company conducted a study visit for the project participants in Poltava. The participants gained firsthand experience by observing the company’s customer contact center, visiting a service station, and engaging in conversations with logisticians and drivers. Most importantly, they had the opportunity to test drive the company’s buses.

The project "Expanding the professional potential of women in the field of passenger transportation" is being implemented by the NGO Foundation for Institutional Development on the initiative of the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, in partnership with UN Women and under the financial support of Sweden.
