If not us, then who? UN Women in Ukraine tell the stories of women leaders during the war

Despite all the horrors and difficulties of the war, millions of Ukrainian women keep working to bring victory closer. Every day they serve to the community and volunteer. The women save people’s lives, provide civilians and the army with food, medicine, and care. They advocate for crucial decisions, coordinate work and heal their communities. Thanks to the courage and strength of such women, Ukraine’s is protected, and a free future becomes closer. This manifesto was created by UN Women Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada and the Government of Denmark to express respect, admiration, and gratitude to the women of Ukraine.
