The taste of success: the story of Valeriia Shynkarenko

Valeriia Shynkarenko believed in her dream and decided to turn it into reality. This is how she launched her own sushi business in Myrhorod. As she developed her business, Valeriia also sought to improve her entrepreneurial skills and explore new opportunities for growth.

That is why she took part in the NIZHNA project (Unbreakable Initiative of Women — Persistent and Active), implemented by the NGO “Light of Hope” with technical support from UN Women Ukraine and funding from the United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). The project combined training and grant support, which became an important resource for the development of her business.

Today, as businesses continue to face new challenges, such support is especially valuable.
